The mortality for S aureus bacteraemia is high, 20-25%. It is higher for MRSA than MSSA. Standard therapy for MRSA is vancomycin or da-tony in, and they have shortcomings, ie poor tissue penetration and slow killing time. There is in-vivo and in-vitro evidence that adding a...
