The incidence of DVT in critical illness is 5-20% despite pharmacologic thromboprophylaxis. Mechanical thromboprophylaxis reduces DVT incidence compared to no thromboprophylaxis. Does intermittent mechanical add to pharmacologic thromboprophylaxis in critical illness? Are both...
