Bronchiolitis is the leading cause of infant hospitalisations, costs a lot, and is increasing. In the US the hospitalisation rate has risen from 12.9 to 31.2 per 1000 over 20 years. With care algorithms defining oxygenation goals, it is worth making sure the goals are correct.
