This sub-study of the VASST trial looks at the effect of vasopressin vs noradrenaline on plasma cytokine levels in septic shock. Remember VASST was a RCT coma prong vasopressin (0.01-0.03 U/min) to noradrenaline (5-15 ug/min), with no difference in 28-day mortality (35.4% vs 39.3%).
