This prospective, muticentre (27 ICU's France and Spain) RCT compares early prone ventilation to standard care in patients with severe ARDS. The patients were ventilated with ARDS for less than 36 hrs, and after meeting criteria had a stabilisation period of 12-24 hours to allow for...
