This APC study offers some unique aspects to this highly controversial area of intensive care research. For a start it is the only investigator led RCT of APC (PROWESS, PROWESS-SHOCK, etc all commercial trials). It was conducted in 24 ICU's in France, experienced in the use of APC, with a 2x2...
