The rate of emergency CABG following PCI has decreased from 6-10% in the early days, to 0.1 to 0.4%. The increase in primary PCI for STEMI has provided justification to PCI services in non-cardiac surgery hospitals. What about elective PCI in non-cardiac surgery hospitals?
