This RCT conducted in 74 infants requiring major thoracic (non-cardiac) or abdominal surgery compared IV paracetamol to IV morphine as primary analgesic agent, with rescue morphine for both.
They found the paracetamol group received less morphine (median 121 ug/kg vs...
