The nutrition landscape has many areas where there is uncertainty. This 305 pt RCT examines the effect of "supplemental PN" (SPN), given for days 3-8 in critically ill patients not reaching caloric targets with EN (less than 60% of energy target).
The target was 25 kcal/kg ideal...
