I agree with Carl. Utter rubbish ! But as you can see there are many to jump the EBM bandwagon and now hurrah ! surprise surprise!! there is a trial in progress. Can anyone predict what the results are going to be? I am sure common sense will help work that out. But someone has to get their name on a paper ! WOW | |

Should protective ventilation strategies be applied to all critically ill ventilated patients, not just those with ARDS? Most of you will have an opinion, and this study certainly adds to the debate. This meta-analysis of 20 studies where ventilated patients without ARDS/ALI (at baseline)...
