Why did they compare it to landmark-based CVC -- does anyone use that method any more? | |

I almost never put them in with landmarks anymore. However, I still set up and check my landmarks before I use the US, because you never know when you're going to need to do it the old fashioned way. | |

Has the humble interosseous come of age? Success rates and insertion times compared favourably with central venous access when peripheral IVs were found to be difficult.
